Wellplast AB was awarded the Sustainability Prize of the Year

The 2023 Åstorp Municipality Sustainability Prize was awarded to Wellplast AB with the following motivation:

“A company dedicated to the production and development of unique materials and innovative packaging designs that contribute to environmentally friendly solutions for the industry. Through smart packaging solutions and lifecycle thinking, they reduce their own and their customers’ carbon footprint.

The materials they use are 100% recyclable. The combination of unique materials and extensive experience in packaging development makes the company a valued supplier to many businesses across Europe.

Wellplast AB was founded in 1999 at Chalmers as a material development company. Today, the company specializes in providing packaging materials and transport packaging for customers with high standards. The company develops and produces the materials at their facility in Åstorp.”
