Wellplast exhibits Fachpack, 27-29 september 2016
After last year's success, we will return to Fachpack in Nuremberg, Germany 27-29 September 2016.
We will be in i hall 9, stand 304.

Empack is the largest packaging event in the Nordic region in 2017 and will take place at the Kistamässan in Stockholm on 4-5 October.
We will be in stand I: 03 where we will show our different materials, packaging solutions and our unique plasticpallet concept.

Wellplast AB has again strengthened the design page. In June Gustav Engkvist started his employment. He works primarily with packaging development and has quickly gained a very good cooperation with the sales department and with customers. The result is through creative and effective solutions. Gustav took his Master of Science degree from Luleå Technical University last spring and holds a Master of Composite Materials. When he does not develop packages, much of his spare time goes to exercising. Crossfit and running. Hiking and skiing in the Swedish mountains is also a favorite. He has been at the top of Kebnekaise and participated in Vasaloppet.
Wellplast AB invests even more in development and we are very pleased to be able to welcome Victor Brickling to the company. Victor started his job as a packaging designer in June this year and has quickly become a valuable part of our design team. Victor comes recently from Lund University, where he successfully completed his MSc in product development. He works close with the sales department and customers to create effective and environmentall solutions. In the free time, training and the Premier League takes up much of the time. He is a connoisseur when it comes to bubbly drinks, and he gladly visits Champagne on his holiday.
We are very proud to announce that Ia Svensson has started her employment at Wellplast AB in early January. The focus on exports means that demand for our packaging solutions is increasing steadily and also the need for packaging design. Ia is an experienced designer who, with valuable knowledge, strengthens our talented design team. Ia will mainly work with packaging design in 2D and 3D as well as prototype production. Ia arrives recently from Northgrade AB where she worked with development and quality. Northgrade manufactures 4P trailers. On free time it is family, cooking and travel that applies to her. A favorite destination is Sardinia.
We are pleased and proud to announce that Pernilla Wallstedt has begun her employment with us. Europe’s investment starts to bear fruit and Wellplast AB is growing. Therefore, we must strengthen the organization. Pernilla will primarily work with order management, sales support and logistics. She has great and valuable experience of similar tasks and comes from Celest Paper Klippan AB.
Pernilla just got home from a long trip in the United States. In her spare time she has a lot of interest in cooking and different forms of training.

Wellplast AB was awarded a prize for the Southern Region Finale for Entrepreneur of the Year, November 19, 2014. We are very proud and happy. The Sweden finals takes place in Stockholm in January.
Successful entrepreneurs stimulate economic growth worldwide. EY annually organizes the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year award in more than 60 countries. The aim is to make entrepreneurs visible and to increase entrepreneurial interest. The award will also inspire tomorrow’s entrepreneurs.
Entrepreneurs nominated for the award must have founded a company that has been active for at least five years, having a turnover of 10 million alternatively, has 10 employees.
The jury reviews the contractors based on the following six criteria:
Entrepreneurs spirit – The entrepreneur has strong growth ambitions, high goals, and sees opportunities where others see obstacles.
Economic development – The entrepreneur creates permanent financial results with own financial commitment and risk taking.
Strategic focus – The entrepreneur shows business visions and goals thanks to strong driving force, distinguishing itself from its competitors, and developing new products and services.
Impact on the outside world – Entrepreneur’s impact on the outside world can be measured in terms of earnings, new jobs, influence on the environment or presence in markets outside Sweden.
Innovation – Entrepreneur is characterized by innovative creativity and strives constantly to improve and renew its business.
Personal integrity and influence – The entrepreneur lives up to its values and has developed an activity where social responsibility plays an important role.
Wellplast® PPC – Plastic Plastic Concept wins “Packaging innovation award”
At the Empack Exhibition in Kista on 15-16 October 2014, Wellplast AB presented its pallet concept for the first time for a wider customer base. The visitors showed great interest in the concept and, in addition, won the prize. “Packaging Innovation Award is awarded to the premier innovation in packaging area during the year. We at Wellplast AB are very happy and proud of this award.
Motivation from the jury:
Wellplast has developed a new, unique pallet concept consisting of plastic pallets, collars or sleeves, in close cooperation with leading recycling users. In the foreground there has been improved ergonomics when loading and unloading the pallets, improved protection against rain and dirt, a system that fits as well too heavy as lightweight, high stacking strength and long service life.
An example of innovation in the system is that the pallet collars can be folded together without being split after the pallet has been emptied. Another is that sleevens load openings have no moving parts, which ensures a long service life. The pallet bottom is completely smooth, which simplifies loading as well as cleaning. The benefits of the pallet concept have been confirmed by the first users.
